smartphone sucks. In this post i will tell
you some tips and hacks by which you can
increase your smartphone's battery backup.
#1. TURN OFF VIBRATION
Vibration is that feature of a smartphone
by which phone starts to vibrate when it
recieve incoming calls and messages. It is
one of the major cause of battery drain, So
turn off vibration on your smartphone.
#2. TURN OFF HAPTIC FEEDBACK
When you press your smartphone's
capacitive buttons you will feel a minor
vibration that is haptic feedback, Turn it
off beacuse it consumes fairable battery.
#3. KILL APPS RUNNING IN THE BACKGROUND
Trim all the apps which are running in the
background of your smartphone.
Background apps consumes a lot of battery
unnecessarily. so make sure to kill those
apps.
#4. TURN OFF AUTOMATIC BRIGHTNESS
Reduce the brightness of your smartphone
and also turn off the automatic brightness.
It will help alot in increasing battery life of
your phone.
#5. REGULARLY UPDATE YOUR APPS
Update your apps regularly because
developers always improve the battery
consumption of apps and fix bugs by
updating apps.
#6. UNINSTALL APPS WHICH YOU BARELY USE
Uninstall all the apps which you are not
using regularly or you barely use them
because all these apps consume battery
unnecessarily.
#7. REMOVE WIDGETS FROM YOUR SCREEN
I know widgets on screen looks great but
dont fall for that because widgets
consumes a lot of battery which you should
not ignore and remove them from your
screen.
#8. TURN ON AIRPLANE MODE
Turn on airplane mode before you go to
bed and when you are in that area where
mobile network is not available. Turning
on airplane will also limit the battery
consumption of android system.
#9. TURN OFF "ALWAYS ON" GOOGLE OK DETECTION
Turn off "always on" google ok detection.
Google ok detection suck alot of battery.
You can turn off "always on" feature by
following this instruction.
Go to Apps > Settings > Google Services >
Search & Now > Voice > Click on 'OK Google
detection' > Turn off ‘Always on'
#10. TURN OFF AUTO SYNC
There are so many apps which posses auto
sync feature, Such apps are gmail,
calender, twitter, facebook. You should
turn off auto sync ASAP as it eats alot of
battery.
#11. CHECK BLUETOOTH, GPS AND NFC
Turn off bluetooth, gps and nfc when you
are not using them as they also consumes a
fair amount of battery.
#12. USE BLACK COLOURED WALLPAPER ON YOUR SMARTPHONE
A recent study shows that if you are using a
black coloured wallpaper on smartphone
screen it will drain battery slower than
that of who are using bright colourfull
wallpaper.
#13. TURN OFF DOUBLE TAP WAKE UP
Double tap wake up is a feature of phone
by which you can wake up your mobile by
tapping the screen two times without
pressing power key. This feature also
consume a lot of battery so turn it off.
#14. REDUCE SCREEN TIMEOUT
Choose 15 seconds to save battery when
you go in display setting this will reduce
screen timeout and increase battery
backup.
#15. TURN ON POWER SAVING MODE
Today all mobile have an option of power
saving mode press it and turn it on, It will
play a vital role for your battery backup.
