How to record 4k videos and enable potrait mode in redmi note 4

As we all know the india's no 1 selling  smartphone redmi note 4 is getting boring day by day. Now its the time to do something new on our redmi note 4 so guys today i have brought  an article for you people on this topic.

What is 4k? 

4k is a type of video resolution while watching or downloading a video on the web you might have seen the resolutions 244p, 360p,480p,720p,1080p. The higher resolution  you choose the higher quality you get now the 1080p video has more quality than 720p video  now what if there is a 1440p video, what will happen, the video will have a great quality  and it will be better than 1080p. So a 1440p or more video is called a 4k video as it has an excellent sound and picture quality.

Why you need 4k 

The answer lies in the question itself .Day by Day smartphones are going advanced ,they are recording clearer videos and taking clearer pics .So everyone wants that he could record the best memories of his life as clearer as hey can so for this what could be better a 4k video or a 1440p video so that's the reason why we need 4k .

What is potrait mode 

Potrait mode is a picture type in which the background  of the  photo is blurred like that of a dslr the first phone that comed with potrait mode was Iphone 7+. With potrait mode you can click some great pictured with excellent quality  and with background  blurred. 

Does redmi note 4 support  4k recording 

The redmi note 4 supports and not supports 4k recording. It's  processor  which is a qualcomm® snapdragon 625 octacore processor support  it but the official camera app does not support it so what you need is an app which will allow you to record 4k videos. So today in this article iam going to show you how you can record 4k videos on Redmi note 4 and Ali's how you can enable portrait mode on Redmi note 4 

Does redmi note 4 has potrait mode?  

The redmi note 4 hasn't  got a dual camera and therefore it doesn't  have  the  potrait mode howerver in this article i will be giving you a app which will take picture like potrait mode with your redmi note  4. 


So lets began 

4k videos 

Guys you need to download the google camera app from here Download v2. 5.2.052.Remember only this version is working with Redmi note 4 so don't try to download it from external sources .


2.Now click on settings and choose  resolution and quality  from the list .


3 now choose back camera video in the list that you can see 

4 now select UHD and click on back button .


You're e done  now you can record 4k videos from the google camera .

Photos like potrait mode 

1.Open the google camera app


2.now select lens blur 


And now you're  shooting like pro your photos wil be auto blurred and will be similar  to those of potrait mode

Official way for recording 4k videos on Redmi note 4 

Guys we are able to record the 4k videos with Redmi note 4 using Google camera but the real answer to how to record 4k videos on Redmi note 4 lies in the official miui 9. Guys yes! You will be getting an option of 4k recording in Redmi note 4 in miui 9 update coming this November 2 .If you are like me and you don't like to wait to explore things so you should try this method .this method is 100% safe and it will not harm your devices so don't worry .
